The Space
Great Room
Entering into the great room with stunningly high ceilings you will immediately escape into the peace and calm gifted by sweeping views, seen from nearly every corner of the home. The great room is complete with a dining table and large sitting area. It’s the perfect area to chill out and cosy up. You’ll find a sideboard (cabinet) full of board games, books, and extra thick blankets for you to enjoy during your stay with us.
The Kitchen
The open-plan kitchen is well stocked with assorted cook books, utensils, crockery, cutlery, fridge & freezer, gas hob (5 burners) and large gas oven. Locally made dish washing soap, some tea bags, coffee, sugar, milk, salt, pepper, and olive oil are provided for your arrival. Please kindly bring enough drinking water for your stay.
The Master Bedroom
The master bedroom features a comfortable king-size bed opening to a small sunny upstairs balcony offering even more incredible views straight from bed! Watch the night stars or enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning from the comfort of bed or private balcony. The Master bathroom boasts a double shower, double sinks, and toilet.
The Twin (Toto) Room
This gracefully furnished twin room has a bunk bed as well as a book shelf with children’s books, a few games, and legos for younger guests. The master bedroom is accessed through this room, making this room an ideal combination for parents and their children. This room uses a full bathroom with a bath tub, sink and toi
Kijana’s Room (2nd Master Bedroom)
Tastefully decorated , the 2nd Master Bedroom enjoys its own private entrance through double french doors that open to a small private verandah and seating area, where one can take in the sunsets from bed or the small cafe table outside. Located down the outside stairs on the lower level, this room features twin single beds that can also be put together as a comfortable King size bed (please let us know your requirements prior to arrival). To top it off, the bathroom is ensuite with a walk-in shower, sink, toilet.
The Verandah
The verandah takes the prize for the ultimate living & viewing space. This spacious outdoor living area opens to the whole of Africa. With a large French daybed, Adirondack chairs, and extra long outdoor dining table you’ll take in the sunrise, sunset, and cosy evenings by the fire with sweeping views as far as the eye can see, you’ll simply never want to leave.
The Pool & Beyond
With arguably the best views on Champagne Ridge our cold pool will provide nothing less than sheer relaxation and a much appreciated respite after a long day out hiking. Cosy up with a book in the Adirondack chairs on the pool deck with a cup of G&T to take in the sunset. Traditional Kenyan Kikoys are provided for use at the pool. The grounds around the home provide a number of “sundowner rocks” and a landscape perfect for a stroll, hike, picnic, or rock scrambling.
